Burton Fund
In this history-making challenge, Randall Miller, Ph.D., professor emeritus of history, will match dollar-for-dollar (up to $50,000) every gift made to the David H. Burton History Fund. For those who love to take those specialty courses in History, this is the fund that can support a fellowship that brings scholars to campus. Dr. Julia Mansfield is this year’s Burton Fellow and is currently teaching “History of Infectious Disease". In addition to teaching and research, the Burton Fellow enlivens the campus community through public lectures and faculty workshops.
If we reach 100 donors, Dr. Miller will give an additional $10,000 to the Burton Fund!
